We start our Palma tour in the heart of the ‘ Palma Old City’, the Gothic Quarter, which dates back to the Roman times. From the meeting point, walking along the ancient renaissance city walls and seeing the remains of Palma’s early settlement, as the Almudaina fortress from the Arab period as well as medieval buildings and sites in the lesser-known Jewish Quarter.

We continue our Palma walking tour to Morey Street where large palaces sitting right next to top museums like the Museo Mallorca.  Dali private collection in a lovely building next to la Portella. . The area is renowned for its great  traditional  places .There are some local  bars and cellars like La Sifoneria to drink direct from the barrel,  you’ll still find the originals . You’re likely to find yourself going back to a point out of time.  Test a typical chocolate with ensaimada in a shop that opens business back to 1877 and was the first shop preparing almond ice cream.  You’ll still find the original coffee and cuartos. You’re likely to find yourself going back to a point out of time surrounding by original decoration.

Take in the special atmosphere and enjoy some of our traditional products as you take a step back in time during your Palma experience. Why not local Cava with oysters? .In the El Olivar  food & fish  market  is the right place for this. Over time the fresh-produce stall holders have retained their original signature and today habits like this have been promoted with a lot of success.

Miguel Corral has a very diverse and rich background, after  travelling extensively and
before becoming a Licensed Local Tour Guide of Balearic Islands, Miguel obtained the University degree of Técnico de Empresas y Actividades Turísticas by the Escuela Oficial de Turismo . He was living and studying in
London, Paris and Florence.

He has the certificate of proficiency in English EFL. By Cambridge University and a certificate of Lingua e cultura Italiana given by the Università di Firenze.

He continuously assist to different update courses organized by local institutions as the “Jornades Internacionals d´Estudis Gaudinistes in Palma” Juny 2002, the Diploma of the Fundación Bmé. March Severa of Modern Sculpture, (May 2003) The Municipality of Palma (Palma Monumental, February 2004), The Fundación Yannick & Ben Jakober (June 2005), The Fundación Pilar & Joan Mirò of Palma (January 2006), IBATUR (2003, 2004.2005, 2006), and the Institut d’Estrategia Turística de Balaears (March and November 2006).

His degrees in Humanities and Tourism Management, combined with his background and passion for his job have turned him into a very experienced licensed guide in Mallorca. His main areas of expertise are architecture-related fields (urban planning, walking tours, etc.) though he is also comfortable with art, history and philosophy has an intimate knowledge of Tramuntana range of mountains listed as a cultural patrimony of the humanity by the UNESCO.
